About nordi
Last updated: 16 July 2026
nordi is a small, independent, free daily dispatch for internationals working in — or trying to break into — Denmark's tech and cyber scene. This page explains how it actually works, plainly.
How stories get picked
Every morning, an automated pipeline checks a set of Danish news, government, and community sources (listed below). It hands the day's candidates to an AI model (Claude), which selects up to eight that are genuinely useful to an international in Danish tech — job openings, visa and permit changes, cybersecurity news, and relevant events — and writes a short, plain-English summary and TL;DR for each.
The website updates itself automatically once that run finishes. Before the daily email goes out to subscribers, I read it myself first — so the inbox version has a human check; the site's live feed is the AI's picks, published directly.
How we treat publishers' journalism
nordi doesn't republish anyone's work. For every story, we use only the title and short summary a publisher has chosen to make public in their own RSS feed, we write our own TL;DR framing why it matters to our specific audience, and every card links straight to the original article for the full read. We don't scrape or bypass paywalls, and we don't mirror or cache full article text anywhere.
Some of our sources are subscription-funded.
Support the journalism you read here
nordi only exists because these publishers do the actual reporting, the digging, the sourcing, the fact-checking. A short TL;DR and a link can't replace that. If a source below is one you keep coming back to, consider subscribing to them directly, it's the most direct way to keep that reporting going.
A note to publishers
If you publish one of the sources below and would rather not be included, or want your listing handled differently (attribution wording, byline format, anything else), email me directly and I'll sort it out, no argument. Every click on a story is a click that lands on your site, not ours, that's the intent.
Current sources
This list reflects what the pipeline actively pulls from today. It'll change as nordi grows — check back if you're curious.

Who's behind this
nordi is built and run by one person — someone who lived, studied, and worked in Denmark and wanted a faster way to keep up with the market from outside it. It's not affiliated with any Danish authority, publisher, or employer.
